Dr. Shanna C. Fritsch, Chiropractic Physician
Two Hands Chiropractic and Acupuncture, LLC was organized by Dr. Shanna C. Fritsch in August 2006.
Dr. Shanna C. Fritsch received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois, one of the most renowned, established and respected chiropractic educating institutions worldwide. Her Certification in Acupuncture and Meridian Therapy was rewarded from National University's Postgraduate Program.
Dr. Fritsch is a Certified Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture Practitioner. She has also completed Defeat Autism Now! Physician Training, which focuses on the treatments of Autism. Dr. Fritsch received her Bachelor of Science degree in Cellular Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. She is an active member of both the Illinois Chiropractic Society and the American Chiropractic Association. Dr. Fritsch's special interests include ergonomic-furniture design and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Venessa Theriault, Naturopathic Practitioner
Venessa Theriault, ND offers comprehensive naturopathic services aimed at addressing and treating the cause of illness. Her interests and specialties include Homeopathy, Diet and Nutrition, Botanical Medicine, and Disease Prevention. She views healing as a dynamic process, unique to each person, with different treatments appropriate for different patients. These philosophies allow her the flexibility to move between modalities when taking action toward illnesses from the common cold to diabetes, hypertension and chronic disease.
Venessa began her study in medicine at Augustana College in Illinois where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pre-Medicine and Biology, with minors in Biochemistry and Art. She went on to study the art and science of natural medicine at Bastyr University in Washington, graduating in 2007 with a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. She is licensed to practice as a Naturopathic Physician in Washington, and because Illinois does not yet license Naturopathic Physicians, Venessa does not identify herself or otherwise use the title of Naturopathic Physician in Illinois. However, on Nov. 2, 2007, the Illinois legislature passed House Resolution 416 which provides for the study of Naturopathic Medicine, and such study is the first step toward licensure in Illinois.
As an advocate for increased healthcare choices and the growth of the Naturopathic profession, she is a board member for the Illinois Association for Naturopathic Physicians (ILANP) and a member of the American Association for Naturopathic Physicians (AANP).

Aja DeSalvo,
Nationally Certified & Licensed Massage Therapist
Aja DeSalvo graduated from the Cortiva Clinical School of Massage Therapy in 2008. Injuries from college athletics lead her to understand first-hand the benefits of massage. She experienced increased mobility, pain reduction and scar tissue reduction with massage following her multiple injuries and subsequent surgeries. Aja enjoys clinical work because it allows her to focus on patient-centered massages. She specializes is sports, deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial, swedish massage. She believes in the amazing healing powers of the body and realizes the importance of taking care not only of the body, but also the spirit and the mind.
